What we do.
How we do it.
Our end goal is simple- to see Malta flourish, but there’s one thing standing in our way, WASTE. To tackle this problem we join forces with anyone and everyone to clean up what’s been done, spread awareness about the situation and share all that we know, for a brighter tomorrow. We’ve come along way from our humble beginnings but we can’t pull this off without you.
This is how we keep busy
We're re-branding waste.
We’re thinking big but starting small. We want to change the way you look at waste; it’s not gross, it’s natural. We’re not afraid to get our hands a little dirty and break a sweat every now and then, because our planet is worth it and our country deserves it. We're in it for the long-haul.
Not just clean-ups
Clean-ups and educational programmes are just a few of the things we’ve been up to, we’ve got loads of other projects on the boil, like our Żibel Boat, Seabin Malta Project, Żibel Dive Tribe, youth volunteer programme, and SwapShop website to name a few.
Holistic Sustainability.
It's a lifestyle. It's a new way of living. Solutions that work today, tomorrow and 10 years from now. Combining research, culture, technology and civic pride in whatever we do.
Refuse
Refuse represents conscious living, starting from your daily rituals- are you drinking coffee from a takeaway cup everyday? Are you going through two plastic bottles at the gym? Refuse plastic bags at the super market until you start remembering to take your own, refuse items that come in single use packaging, refuse unnecessary waste in your day-to-day life. It starts with the little things, and works its way into an entirely green, waste-free lifestyle. The aim is first and foremost to waste less, and then to recycle what’s left. Here you'll find a range of guides to help you through your sustainable transformation.
