In 2020 we successfully won funding from the BeMed Foundation to carry out a project aimed at abandoned or lost fishing gear waste around the Maltese Islands. Collection missions to date have yielded over 20 nets from reefs along the shoreline.

In 2021 the project will pick-up where it left off, with collections targeted for April and May.
